LABO

LABO is a circus performance that explores individual and collective consciousness through the synchronized movements of seven identically dressed artists. Their white hooded outfit resembles a pajama, an astronaut’s uniform, or a scientist’s suit. It is dehumanizing, yet paradoxically allows access to universal human states.

Between Orwellian dystopia and playful poetry, LABO skillfully blends circus and physical theatre into a universal language.

Show for theaters and big top

An international collective, LABO circo brings together artists from across the globe — from Guadalajara to Berlin, via Montreal and Paris.

LABO has no face. LABO takes shape through white suits — at times pajamas, astronauts, scientists, monks, teddy bears, or penguins… The moving bodies within them explore a unique poetry born from these costumes.
